I was in the same Industrial Ecology class with Mochen in Fall 2020. Three of us remote-learning students in China and Mochen in New Haven formed a study group on WeChat. He is humorous and humble, and always happy to answer our questions on MFA, Sanky diagram… and share interesting insights on industrial ecology topics. Though we never met in person, he is a great classmate and a sweet friend to us. Seeing him via Zoom in the class and discussing with him on WeChat through and after the class made us feel close to the YSE campus, though we are physically thousands of miles away.
Though you cannot see this post, I still need to say “Thank you Mochen! Deeply sad that our IE study group can never reunite in person. May you rest in peace.”
